Er, yes, maam, said the scrawny, timid looking young woman.
Shhh! said Ms. Brunswick, the Head Librarian, hastily. As Ms. Brunswick whispered at the top of her lungs, her breathy orders pushed the poor girl around like a young tree in a very well disciplined hurricane.
These books are not straight, Ms. Brun

Sinister Dexter chapter 2Sinister (chap. 2) By Cristofer UrlaubSinister Dexter chapter 2
On the top floor of the tallest building in Phoenix City a group of heroes meets every Tuesday to discuss the most crucial threats to the cities security, usually over a bag of chips and dip and something from the microwave. A row of five aluminum folding chairs were arranged in front of a bead curtain which seemed out of place in the high-tech chamber. Four of the five chairs were filled with heroes when the meeting began. There was the distant sound of a gong, followed immediately by the sound of someone tripping over lunch plates and shoving the laundry out of his way.

Sinister Dexter chapter 1Sinister (chap. 1) By Cristofer UrlaubSinister Dexter chapter 1
Welcome to Phoenix City. It was so named for its chronic history of being burned to the ground by super hero battles and colossal monsters the likes of which movie makers dare to dream. It even says that on the sign as you enter into city limits, You are now entering Phoenix City, Home of being burned to the ground. Please steer clear of debris. WishOh, how we wish some things in life Were easier to handle. We wish wisdom would come the moment We blow out the eighteenth candle.Wish
When the world deems us all adults And kicks us out on our own We just wish it was easier Not to feel alone.

The sad fool is a wise man, he's using his brain He knows that to live is to want and feel pain.
He may be quite foolish, clad in rags and regrets But are you the wiser? I'd not place your bets.
For a fool's eyes are open, though they may shine with tears He's seen through the darkness of your sadness and fears.
I am the same fool, and now you know who Though I

Shattered PeaceThe olive branch broke into slender spears And raced across compassions lines of dreams, Then pierced the minds of careless cavaliers.Shattered Peace
The regent fed upon the peasants fears, And, torn by powers taut, disputed streams, The olive branch broke into slender spears.
Emphatic voice, inspiring wary peers, Whose murmured hatred turned to raucous screams Then pierced the minds of careless cavaliers.
They gathered, fiery thoughts between their ears. To help defeat the cruel, harsh regimes, The olive branch broke into slender spears.

And close your eyes with holy dread;
For he on honeydew hath fed
And drunk the milk of paradise.
